THE INCREDIBLY SCRUMMIE BOOK OF VEGGIE SOUPS

 

 

THICK SMOKY PEA SOUP

One lb of onions chopped.
2 oz of ''Smokey Snaps''. (Smoked soya mince from Health Shop)
3 pints of water.
One and a half teaspoons of sea salt.
Half a pound of yellow split peas.

 

METHOD

Soak peas overnight. Then bung everything into the pot, bring to the boil. Then simmer for one hour. That's it! You may wish to blend the soup till smooth. Optional.
