Coley (Barry Cole) wrote and arranged all the tracks on this CD apart from
THE WEED SONG (which I wrote), he also arranged and wrote the music for THE LADY
ON THE OLD BROMPTON ROAD and ENOUGH TO WAKEN THE DEAD of which I wrote the words.
Barry Cole was an outstanding Jazz musician from Kent. He played tenor sax
(main instrument), alto sax, clarinet, bass clarinet and flute. He not only wrote
jazz arrangements that would blow your head off but also composed the music for
Thames TV’s LARRY THE LAMB (which I also provided many of the ‘voices’).
This CD is an example of his superb jazzmanship!
